SECUDE @ SAP TechEd 2017

September 25–29, 2017 | The Venetian-Palazzo Congress Center, Las Vegas, NV, USA

When its SAP technology, its SAP TechEd

The world over, when it comes to understanding SAP technology hands-on, SAP TechEd is the premier SAP tech conference for technologists, engineers, and developers. SAP TechEd provides the platform for technical training, demo-rich lectures, product road map Question and Answer sessions, and expert networking, live coding, and collaboration opportunities.

SECUDE – The only solution provider protecting data leaving SAP

SAP TechEd 2017, at The Venetian-Palazzo Congress Center in Las Vegas, also witnessed participation of solution providers, large and small, across a wide spectrum of SAP-centric system enhancement solutions, streamlining solutions, and security add-ons for data in SAP. In this packed environment, SECUDE differentiated from the crowd through its unique value proposition in that it was the only solution provider that could protect data leaving SAP systems.

SECUDE’s booth – Where quality and quantity meet

SECUDE’s booth had over 1100 unique visitors who evinced interest ranging from general curiosity in the concept of data security to deep diving conversations on the legacy of SECUDE and the unique positioning of its SAP data security product, HALOCORE. Almost all conversations revolved around the solution, though some conversations were educational in nature, with topics such as machine-to-machine conversation and database compatibility coming up frequently.

The cornerstone of conversation – The issue of ‘invisible’ data leaks

Business processes, today, rely heavily on ERP applications, such as SAP, that handle product lifecycle, finance, customer relationship, human resource and many other processes. These applications store and transact vast amounts of business-critical information. SAP clients have long realized that their business revolves around information, but not all are aware of a hidden danger – that data leak due to uncontrolled user downloads and data flows in the background. Thus, with digital transformation, solutions that monitor and block such leaks from SAP applications become a must – and this was the crux of all conversation.

SECUDE also created new relationship with prospective partners during the event.

Trinkets help!

Goodies are always objects of interest and, thus, are good hooks. SECUDE’s booth had some interesting ones. During the course of the event, many visitors who dropped in casually to collect a few goodies, stayed on to discuss more serious security issues.

22nd – 23rd June 2017 | Venue: ITC Gardenia, Bangalore, India

Companies the world over are ‘seemingly’ becoming cognizant of the need to become compliant to data security regulations. It’s either that or a hefty penalty that also dints the brand. However, surprisingly, certain key areas of data security still seem to be a blind spot for many CIOs, CTOs or CISOs – a time bomb ticking away…

Here’s an opportunity to unearth these blind spots and defuse the threat before its too late!

SECUDE will be participating in Data Security Council of India’s (DSCI) 9th Best Practices Meet 2017 to explain what exactly these blind spots are and what this threat entails to enterprises. The event will be held from 22nd – 23rd  June in ITC Gardenia, Bangalore, India. Naturally, the theme for this year’s event is Cognitive Security.
